Motocaddy, the world’s biggest electric golf trolley brand, has extended its partnership with the Clutch Pro Tour and its associated Amateur and Junior Tours into the 2024 season.

This move solidifies Motocaddy’s support for emerging golf talent and leading amateur events, which act as a stepping stone into professional golf.

Oliver Churcher, Motocaddy’s Marketing Director, said, “The Clutch Pro Tour is an official Feeder Tour to The European Challenge Tour and DP World Tour, and we’re delighted to have the chance to support these amazingly talented golfers as part of their professional journey.”

He added, “Last year we saw lots of players choosing to use our trolleys across the circuit, and it’s a really important partnership to everyone at Motocaddy.”

The extended partnership includes branding and course signage, product placement, and comprehensive promotion across Clutch Pro Tour’s social media and digital marketing channels.

In addition, Motocaddy will sponsor eight new brand ambassadors in the Tier 1 schedule, who will join #TEAMMOTOCADDY alongside four existing Clutch Pro Tour ambassadors.

They will each receive a new 2024 M-Series electric trolley and a PRO 3000 Laser Rangefinder.

The Clutch Pro Tour features 16 events, providing developing professional golfers the opportunity to compete at top championship courses and earn Official Golf World Ranking points.

The 2024 season kicked off at Heythrop Park with Motocaddy Brand Ambassador Olly Huggins securing his first professional victory.

The second event at Brocket Hall saw Huggins continue his strong start, joining two other Motocaddy ambassadors in high rankings.

The partnership also includes Motocaddy sponsoring its own event, The Motocaddy Masters, at Harleyford Golf Club in September.

This event is the final one of the regular season, giving players a last chance to qualify for the Tour Championship.

Clutch Pro Tour Co-founder and Director, Tom Hayward, noted, “We thank Motocaddy for their continued support, and I know it gave the players involved in the Brand Ambassador scheme last season an extra boost, including two of the team topping the order of merit.”

He added, “They’re a World-renowned global brand, which adds extra gravitas to our events, and we look forward to another successful year.”

Motocaddy has also renewed its partnership with the Elite Amateur Golf Group and continued its role as the Official Trolley Partner of the Trilby Tour and PlayMoreGolf.

These partnerships extend Motocaddy’s reach across the UK, with electric trolleys awarded as prizes for various events, including the Trilby Tour Grand Final at Dundonald Links.

Oliver Churcher concluded, “We’ve had successful partnerships with the Elite Amateur Golf Group, the Trilby Tour, and PlayMoreGolf for a number of years, which allows us to speak to more golfers of all ages and abilities, and in doing so, we’re spreading the message of how much our products can help them play better, play more often, and most importantly, have more fun on the golf course.”
