Meanwhile, Hall, showing her competitive edge, fired five birdies on her front nine, seizing an early lead.

The fierce winds posed a significant challenge on the par-73 course, but Maguire embraced the test with a smile.

Maguire, focusing on a putt at Centurion Club, remarked, “Yeah, it’s really windy out there.

It’s probably two, three-shot winds in places. It’s playing a little bit linksy. The course is running out, getting firm and fast, and the wind is quite strong.

It was swirling in places, so you just try to hit a few punchy shots that I probably haven’t used in a while. It’s definitely a welcome back to European golf. It’s a good test and I enjoyed it.”

The team competition is set for a thrilling play-off finale between Team Hall and Team Nadaud on the morning of the final day, a common excitement at Aramco Team Series presented by PIF events.

Both teams finished the final day of team competition at 24-under-par in notably tougher conditions than the first round, with their amateurs contributing crucial scores to force the playoff.

Georgia Hall, pushing for the top spot after a strong day at Aramco Team Series presented by PIF – London, emphasised the difficulty of the conditions: “It was so windy, much windier than yesterday.

I didn’t hit a shot wrong, I played really good golf and probably the best I played and a few months. We had a good day again, in really tough conditions.”

Diksha Dagar, set to represent India at the 2024 Summer Olympics, shot a 68, the joint-best round of the day, with five birdies and no dropped shots, securing her place firmly inside the top ten.

The final day of the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF – London promises an extraordinary day of golf, with a play-off to determine the team champion and intense competition to crown the individual winner.
