The Aramco Team Series presented by PIF is gearing up for an exhilarating stop in Seoul, marking the second leg of its five-part global event series and the inaugural appearance of the Ladies European Tour (LET) in South Korea.

Following team play, professionals will compete individually on the final day to secure the individual title.

In a significant partnership for its South Korean debut, Golf Saudi will collaborate with KOLON Group, the Official Host Partner, to bring top-tier global talent to Seoul.

Leveraging KOLON Group’s expertise in organizing premier events like the Kolon Korea Open, this collaboration aims to provide a world-class experience for players and spectators alike.

South Korea’s dominance in women’s golf is unmistakable, with the nation securing eight of the last 15 U.S. Women’s Open titles and boasting 15 players in the top 50 of the current Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

Contributing to this success is World No. 9 and Amundi Evian Championship winner, Hyo-Joo Kim, who is set to make her Aramco Team Series presented by PIF debut.

Kim, a hometown favourite, sees the event as a chance to claim her first title in the series.

Expressing her excitement, Kim stated, “I’ve heard from those on Tour how special Aramco Team Series events are and how they are set up like a Major.

As soon as I heard the series was heading to Korea for the first time, there was no doubt that I would be competing.”

Adding to the anticipation is LPGA star Danielle Kang, aiming for her first win since 2022. Kang, with her Korean heritage, feels a deep connection to the city and is eager to participate in the event.

Hyo-Joo Kim said: “I’ve heard from those on Tour how special Aramco Team Series events are and how they are set up like a Major.

As soon as I heard the series was heading to Korea for the first time there was no doubt that I would be competing.

“The unique format of the event excites me; I’ve never played in a tournament quite like it.

I’m looking forward to competing with some of my fellow LPGA players here on Korean soil, and exciting the passionate crowds.”

Set against the stunning backdrop of Bukhansan Mountain, the New Korea Country Club will host the event, opening its doors to the public for the first time in 38 years.

The course’s scenic beauty, featuring cherry blossom trees and undulating fairways, promises a memorable experience for players and spectators alike.

Beyond the competition, the series is committed to empowering women and girls in golf, promoting greater participation through social, economic, and environmental initiatives under #SEETheImpact.

In addition to golf, fans can enjoy cutting-edge activities and virtual reality golf at the Aramco Energy Zone, along with a variety of attractions and delicious food and beverage offerings, creating the ultimate golf atmosphere.
