The 2024 DP World Tour Qualifying School schedule has been unveiled, featuring five new venues, expanded First Stage opportunities, and a return to the prestigious INFINITUM resort for its climactic conclusion.
Professionals and amateurs worldwide are eager to secure their spots on golf’s Global Tour.
Competitors will navigate through three stages, aspiring to join the illustrious ranks of Major Champions, World Number Ones, and Ryder Cup stars who emerged from Qualifying School since 1976.
Spanning from August to November, the Qualifying School will visit 15 venues, culminating in the Final Stage at Costa Dorada’s acclaimed INFINITUM resort.
All five new venues will serve as First Stage hosts, increasing opportunities from nine to ten, and offering more players a shot at earning DP World Tour cards.
Among the newcomers, Golf Nazionale in Italy and Moonah Links in Australia stand out, along with debuts for Golf de Léry Poses in France, Huddersfield Golf Club in England, and Horsens Golfklub in Denmark.
Second Stage will unfold across Spain, featuring four returning venues: Desert Springs Resort in Almeria, Isla Canela Links in Huelva, Golf Las Pinaillas in Albacete, and Fontanals Golf Club in Girona.
Mike Stewart, DP World Tour Qualifying School Director, expressed enthusiasm for the expanded opportunities, emphasizing the rigorous test each venue provides and the readiness of successful participants to compete on the DP World Tour in 2025.
JoaquÃn Mora Bertrán, Deputy General Manager of Golf, Beach Club, and F&B at INFINITUM, welcomed the event’s return, highlighting recent resort enhancements and amenities catering to golfers of all levels.
The Final Stage at INFINITUM from November 8-13, 2024, will see 156 players vie over six rounds, with the top 20 players and ties earning DP World Tour playing privileges for 2025.
Entries for the Qualifying School open in June, promising another exciting chapter in golf’s journey.
