COBRA GOLF® has launched a new limited edition driver, the DARKSPEED VOLITION AMERICA, to pay tribute to American military heroes.
This special edition features the same groundbreaking technology found in standard DARKSPEED models but stands out with its patriotic red, white, and blue design, complete with Bald Eagle and American flag sole graphics.
The driver also comes with a matching headcover and a striking silver crown. A portion of the proceeds from this release will be donated to the Folds of Honor Foundation, supporting the families of fallen American military heroes through educational scholarships.
The driver incorporates advanced technology, including the re-engineered PWR-BRIDGEâ„¢, which features a suspended weight positioned lower and more forward for faster ball speed.
The MULTI-MATERIAL CHASSIS includes a lightweight carbon crown and sole plate, and a reinforced titanium frame to optimise weight distribution and enhance stability.
The carbon crown is 30% thinner, allowing for more weight to be distributed low and forward in the structure.
To appeal to different players, COBRA offers two models of the DARKSPEED Volition America driver: the LS model, designed for faster swingers, and the X model, designed for a broader range of players.
Both models have adjustable weighting systems to fine-tune forgiveness, launch angle, and spin.
The LS model features three weight ports with two 3g weights and one 12g weight, allowing players to adjust the club’s bias towards fade or spin.
The X model includes a back weight and an additional front weight position for greater flexibility in adjusting ball flight.
The driver’s PWRSHELL face insert has a 13% larger hitting area, enhanced with H.O.T. Face Technology to maximize speed.
This advanced technology, developed through machine learning, ensures increased ball speed across the entire face.
The DARKSPEED Volition America drivers come with a patriotic color-scheme Project X HZDRUS GEN 4 Black shaft in choice of X, S, or R flex, and are available in 9- and 10.5-degree loft options.
