London is set to dazzle with the return of its only professional women’s golf tournament for 2024, the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF โ London.
With a lineup that reads like a whoโs who of women’s golf, this yearโs tournament promises to be the most exciting yet.
Mark your calendars for July 3-5 at the Centurion Club, where the competition will be fierce and the stakes high.
Thailandโs Patty Tavatanakit, alongside American stars Alison Lee and Angel Yin, are the latest additions to a field already brimming with talent.
Joining them are Charley Hull, Georgia Hall, and Nelly Korda, the latter aiming to defend her individual title from 2023.
Tavatanakit, fresh off a victory at the $5 million Aramco Saudi Ladies International presented by PIF in February, is looking to continue her winning streak.
Her triumph in Riyadh marked her first trophy since claiming the Chevron Championship in 2021, and she followed it up with another win on the LPGA Tour in her home country of Thailand.
Reflecting on her recent success, Tavatanakit shared, “This season got off to an incredible start, thanks to the hard work my team and I have put in over the years.”
“Winning in Riyadh was emotional, as it was my first title in three years, and it helped propel me to a really special win in Thailand the following week.”
“Nelly has had an incredible season, and itโs great to see more attention being focused on womenโs golf.”
“Iโm really excited to play at Centurion Club, and to compete in London against this strong field.”
Alison Lee returns to the Aramco Team Series with high hopes of replicating her spectacular performance from last year.
Lee closed out 2023 by equaling the 72-hole scoring record, winning the series finale in Riyadh with a jaw-dropping 29-under-par.
Lee expressed her excitement, stating, “Riyadh was definitely the highlight of my year.
Aramco Team Series events are always great fun, and weโre taken care of so brilliantly.
Iโm excited to play in London for the first time this year and expect three very competitive days given the strong field.”
Also joining the stellar lineup is Angel Yin, making her return to the Aramco Team Series after a three-year hiatus.
Adding to the competitive mix are Solheim Cup star Emily Pedersen and three-time Major champion Anna Nordqvist from Sweden.
