Vietnam Golf Courses are on track for another milestone year as clubs on the Vietnam Golf Coast (VGC) set their sights on making 2025 an even more remarkable season for Central Vietnam’s golf scene.
This momentum follows a record-breaking 2024 that firmly established the region as a rising star in Asia’s golfing landscape.
“Central Vietnam is hitting its stride as a world-class golf destination, and 2025 presents an exciting opportunity to solidify our position on the global stage,” said Stephen Banks, Director of Golf at Laguna Golf Lang Co, a leader in the VGC’s destination marketing efforts.
“This year, our focus will be on showcasing the region’s exceptional offerings to new markets and reinforcing our commitment to growing the game here in Vietnam.”
Renowned designers have shaped the courses here—Sir Nick Faldo at Laguna Golf Lang Co, Luke Donald at Ba Na Hills Golf Club, Colin Montgomerie at Montgomerie Links, and others by Greg Norman and Robert Trent Jones Jr.—helping attract players from around the globe.
With a packed 2025 calendar, Central Vietnam’s golfing reputation is only set to soar.
From April 2-4, Danang will once again roll out the red carpet for the Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC), bringing together industry heavyweights from around the world.
Laguna Golf Lang Co, Montgomerie Links, and Ba Na Hills Golf Club will be at the heart of the action, hosting exclusive pre- and post-event experiences for more than 50 global delegates keen to see firsthand what makes this region a rising star in golf tourism.
In April, the Asia Grand Final of the Faldo Series returns to Laguna Golf Lang Co’s award-winning Sir Nick Faldo Signature Design.
Other major tournaments include the Danang Invitational World Golf Championship in June and the Vietnam World Masters Golf Championship in September.
Off the course, visitors can soak up cultural festivities such as the Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025) from May 31 to July 12, while Hue takes centre stage as host city for Vietnam’s National Tourism Year 2025.
“Central Vietnam continues to flourish as a destination where golfers can find a unique blend of championship courses, luxurious resorts, and cultural treasures,” said Le Vo Hoang Van, club manager at Montgomerie Links.
“The continual addition of new air routes and high-profile events further enhances our appeal, making it easier than ever for golfers worldwide to experience this extraordinary region.”
VGC clubs are doubling down on efforts to draw golfers from Australia and New Zealand, building on the success of previous roadshows with even bigger outreach campaigns.
Getting here is becoming a breeze, as Danang International Airport broadens its network with direct flights to major cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Nagoya, Osaka, and Doha.
Thanks to these smoother travel connections and the region’s world-class fairways, there’s never been a better moment for international players to experience the magic of Vietnam Golf Courses in this vibrant coastal hotspot.
Beyond accessibility and events, sustainability is key to the region’s ongoing success.
Laguna Golf Lang Co is collaborating with other Sir Nick Faldo-designed courses—Thanh Lanh and Royal Long An—to propose the Faldo Vietnam Open, underscoring Central Vietnam’s leadership in junior golf and responsible tourism.
“Our focus for 2025 is not just on delivering exceptional golf experiences but also on ensuring that we operate in harmony with the environment and local communities,” said Simon Mees, General Manager at Ba Na Hills Golf Club.
“With a record-breaking 2024 behind us, we’re poised to take Central Vietnam’s golf scene to even greater heights.”
