Titleist has unveiled a revolutionary Golf Ball Fitting App, a game-changer for golfers aiming to find the perfect Titleist golf ball for their game.
This Trackman-compatible app synergises personal golfer data with launch monitor readings from 12 strategic shots, including a half-wedge, full-swing pitching wedge, 7-iron, and driver with a Titleist Pro V1 (or Pro V1 RCT for limited flight fittings).
This data feeds into a proprietary algorithm derived from thousands of Titleist fittings, from Tour players to club pros to avid amateurs, yielding a precise Titleist golf ball recommendation.

GOLF BALL FITTING APP EXPERIENCE
The fitting process using the Titleist Golf Ball Fitting App can be completed in just 15 minutes.
It begins with the golfer providing details about course conditions, playing style, and golf ball preferences.
The fitter will ask about current ball choice, handicap, typical green firmness, preferred feel, and trajectory.
After the initial questions, golfers hit three shots each with a half-swing wedge, full-swing pitching wedge, 7-iron, and driver.
Unrepresentative shots can be discarded and re-hit. The focus is on scoring shots, acknowledging that all Titleist golf balls can maximise distance off the tee with proper driver fitting.
Launch monitor data from these shots, combined with the initial information, runs through the app’s proprietary algorithm, resulting in a personalized recommendation from the following Titleist models: Pro V1, Pro V1x, Pro V1x Left Dash, and AVX.
TITLEIST GOLF BALL MODELS
Each Titleist golf ball model is tailored for specific performance traits based on flight, spin, and feel.
The Pro V1 offers an exceptional blend of speed, spin, and feel, delivering a mid-flight trajectory, very high short-game spin, and a soft feel.
The Pro V1x flies higher, spins more in the long game, and feels firmer than the Pro V1.
The Pro V1x Left Dash offers a high flight like the Pro V1x but with a significantly lower full-swing spin and a firmer feel.
