Top Golf Talent Converges in Macau: Your Guide to The International Series Macau Qualifier

Buckle up, folks, because the International Series Macau qualifier is barreling down the fairway with enough star power to light up the Vegas Strip.

If you’re looking for golf’s next big showdown, you’ve come to the right place. With 2010 US Open champion Graeme McDowell headlining alongside an elite cast of LIV Golf League personalities, this promises to be one unforgettable ride at Macau Golf and Country Club from 20-23 March.

Now, let’s tee up a few of the names who’ll be hunting glory. McDowell’s Smash GC teammate, Jason Kokrak, joins Indian standout Anirban Lahiri—fresh off his Crushers GC appearances—and that’s just the tip of the driver.

Rising American Caleb Surratt of Legion XIII is coming in hot, paired with Denmark’s Frederik Kjettrup, the young Cleeks GC addition who wasted no time making headlines with three PGA Tour Americas wins in his first pro season.

Meanwhile, Peter Uihlein (Range Goats GC) will look to add to his two International Series titles from last season, while Aussie Lucas Herbert aims to improve upon his third-place finish in Macau last year, with Ripper GC teammate Matt Jones also set to contend.

And the hits keep on coming—LIV Golf wild card Anthony Kim, a former Ryder Cup firecracker, is joining forces with Sam Horsfield (Majesticks GC), Stinger GC’s Branden Grace, and Sebastian Munoz of Torque GC.

That group tags onto a lineup already boasting multiple Major winners, including Fireballs GC captain Sergio Garcia, 4Aces GC’s Patrick Reed, and the reigning Macau champion, John Catlin.

All eyes are on this International Series Macau qualifier for another reason: it’s part of The Open Qualifying Series, meaning the top three finishers secure a coveted place at Royal Portrush for the year’s fourth major.

That extra dash of incentive has clearly drawn even more rising talent to the field.

Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, put it this way: “With this year’s edition of International Series Macau presented by Wynn being confirmed as a Qualifying Event for The Open, we have taken things to the next level.

The addition of this world-class talent demonstrates the appeal of our series, and the opportunity that it is offering to players.

“The International Series continues to offer a world-class stage for top players to compete at the highest level, and the presence of so many LIV golfers, and its status as a qualifier for The Open, highlights the growing significance of these tournaments.”

If you want a front-row seat for all the action—well, good news. Entry is free for the entire four days, and you can claim your spot by visiting:
