Scotty Cameron has unveiled a new addition to his 2024 lineup, introducing the Super Select Squareback 2 Long Design and Phantom 11 Long Design putters.
These models are tailored to provide golfers with a stable, connected feel, ideal for improving putting consistency.
Crafted specifically at 38 inches, these Long Design putters feature stiffer, custom shafts and heavier heads with tungsten sole weights.
This construction helps to quiet the hands during the stroke and encourages the use of larger shoulder muscles, promoting stability and control.
In Scotty Cameron’s own words, “Most of the discussions we’re having with players these days are either about new alignment features or finding ways to quiet their hands during the putting stroke”.
“We took two of our most popular models — the Super Select Squareback 2 and Phantom 11 — and created a counterbalanced effect with a slightly longer shaft, a heavier head and a heavier grip”.
“This helps the player engage the larger shoulder muscles in the stroke. It’s a concept we’ve developed over the years working with touring professionals that can benefit players everywhere.”
These Long Design models feature a custom 17-inch, 135-gram grip designed to reduce grip pressure and encourage controlled hand movement, complementing the increased weight of the putter head.
The custom, stiffer shafts are designed for stability, with the Phantom 11 Long Design utilizing a longer version of Scotty’s mid-bend shaft, while the Super Select Squareback 2 Long Design features a custom shaft to match its plumbing neck.
Each Long Design putter also includes interchangeable 25-gram tungsten sole weights, allowing for customization of the putter’s feel and balance.
The models are available in custom lengths ranging from 36 to 40 inches, offering players flexibility to find their optimal setup.

Featuring a solid milled face and an integrated 6061 aluminium sole plate, the Super Select Squareback 2 Long Design retains the wider-bodied, angular mid-mallet head shape of the original model.
It incorporates Long Design tungsten sole weights, a heavy grip, and custom shaft for enhanced stability and consistency.
Phantom 11 Long Design:
The Phantom 11 Long Design shares the same head shape as the new Phantom 11 and 11.5 models, designed for high MOI and featuring enhanced arrow alignment features.
It also includes a heavier head, custom grip, and shaft build to further stabilize the putting stroke.
Availability and Price:
The new Scotty Cameron Super Select Squareback 2 Long Design and Phantom 11 Long Design putters will be available in golf shops worldwide starting May 17, 2024, at a suggested retail price of £475.
