This week, Harleyford Golf Club in Buckinghamshire sets the stage for the Motocaddy Masters, the pivotal penultimate event of the Clutch Pro Tour running from 10-12 September.

As the official electric trolley brand of the tour, Motocaddy not only sponsors this defining tournament but also gears up to offer top-tier rewards to the season’s standout players.

As the season nears its climax, competitors vie for a spot at the prestigious Tour Championship at Royal Norwich later this month.

Only the top-60 in the Order of Merit post-Masters will secure a berth, with hopes of clinching the grand prize and additional lucrative opportunities.

The Motocaddy Masters itself boasts a £50,000 prize pot, and the champion will be awarded a high-tech M5 GPS trolley.

The second-place finisher will receive an M1 trolley, and the third-place contestant a PRO 3000 laser rangefinder.

Oliver Churcher, Marketing Director at Motocaddy, expressed enthusiasm about the event’s impact. “The Motocaddy Masters isn’t just a tournament; it’s a cornerstone for budding golf professionals,” Churcher remarked.

With several Motocaddy ambassadors well-positioned in the Order of Merit, including John Gough, Olly Huggins, and Calum Farr, the brand is optimistic about their prospects, empowered by the latest in golf technology from Motocaddy.

The tour, known for its high-calibre competition across the UK’s premier courses, has been a significant draw.

It offers 16 tournaments each spanning 54 holes, now also bestowing Official Golf World Ranking points—an added incentive for players.

This season, the tour has dangled a cumulative prize fund of £1.8 million, with 30 Challenge Tour invites for 2025 and direct entries to Ladies European Tour events for women.

This expansion and success reflect Motocaddy’s broader commitment, having recently renewed its role as the Official Golf Trolley Partner for the Clutch Pro Tour and its satellite Amateur and Junior Tours.

This partnership extends Motocaddy’s visibility across tour events with strategic branding and product placements and through multi-channel promotion, including a new highlight series on Sky Sports Golf.

Tom Hayward, Co-founder and Director of the Clutch Pro Tour, highlighted the excitement building around the Motocaddy Masters.

“It’s a crucial event that could dramatically alter the competitive landscape as we approach the Tour Championship,” said Hayward, forecasting an intense battle at the picturesque Harleyford Golf Club.
