LIV Golf Lands Major TV Deal with FOX Sports for Third League Season

Anyone who’s watched golf before knows it can occasionally resemble watching paint dry in a library.

But brace yourselves, folks—LIV Golf and FOX Sports are about to shake things up in a big way.

Under a brand-new, multi-year media rights agreement, viewers across the U.S. will see the LIV Golf League in action, live, starting this February with the League’s third official season.

It’s a partnership that promises to bring more excitement, more innovation, and—if I know these two outfits—plenty of firepower to your living room.

A League of Its Own

All three days of each LIV Golf tournament will be broadcast live on the FOX family of networks, ensuring you can catch every drive, putt, and improbable eagle.

Over half the events will air on FOX or FS1, with select rounds on FS2, FOX Business Network, and the FOX Sports App.

While 210 hours of competition across the season sounds like a lot, let’s be honest: if you’re a golf fanatic, you’ll probably still wish for more.

For added convenience, all coverage streams on both the FOX Sports App and the LIV Golf+ app, so you never have to miss a minute—unless you’re stuck in a bunker yourself

Bold Visions Aligned

“Teaming up with FOX Sports, one of the top broadcast networks out there, is a huge milestone for us,” said LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil.

He emphasised the League’s “bigger and bolder” future, which is a relief for anyone who’s tired of seeing the same old, same old in golf coverage.

Jordan Bazant, Executive Vice President at FOX Sports, returned the favour by praising LIV Golf’s elite-level competition, saying that adding it to their sports lineup just makes sense.

In the words of Brooks Koepka, captain of Smash GC and a man known for turning birdies into serious business: “Having FOX Sports on board is a huge win for LIV Golf.

They know how to bring sports to life, and I’m pumped to see how they showcase what makes our game so unique.”

Meanwhile, Jon Rahm, captain of Legion XIII, declared that working with FOX will help “push boundaries and innovate,” which sounds like code for “strap in, folks, this ride’s about to get wilder.”

Coverage That Goes the Extra Mile

LIV Golf keeps its coverage in-house, delivering a broadcast experience that moves at twice the pace of classic golf telecasts.

From the distinctive live leaderboard and top-tier drone shots to stats-driven graphics, the production team aims to keep you off the snooze button.

Arlo White will helm play-by-play commentary, joined in the booth by David Feherty and Jerry Foltz—two men who know a thing or two about both golf and witty banter.

Dom Boulet and Su-Ann Heng will tackle on-course reporting, bringing every slice, hook, and heroic shot right to your screen.

The popular Club 54 pre- and post-round shows, led by Christian Crosby with analysis from Rachel Drummond, Foltz, Heng, and Boulet, will appear live on FOX Sports or on the LIV Golf+ app.

And for the tech-savvy fans, LIV Golf’s “Any Shot, Any Time” feature on LIV Golf+ lets you pick precisely who or what you want to see—in case you have a burning need to follow Bryson DeChambeau’s every swing or hear Phil Mickelson’s every last grin.

Supercharged Format & Star-Studded Teams

With 54 holes, three rounds, and shotgun starts, LIV Golf’s format is a bit like speed dating—fast, exhilarating, and full of surprises.

The League’s 13 teams each field four players, combining for 14 major champions boasting a total of 28 major titles. Big names like 2024 LIV Golf Individual Champion Jon Rahm (Legion XIII), 2024 Team Champion Cameron Smith (Ripper GC), Bryson DeChambeau (Crushers GC), Brooks Koepka (Smash GC), Phil Mickelson (HyFlyers GC), Dustin Johnson (4Aces GC), Sergio Garcia (Fireballs GC), and Joaquin Niemann (Torque GC) are all set to battle it out.

One thing’s for certain: if you thought golf was just for quiet Sundays and polite clapping, think again.

This is golf with a gleam in its eye, and you’re invited to watch the revolution unfold.
