Trump Doral’s Blue Monster provides the perfect test of skill one week out from the much-anticipated 2025 Masters.
Miami is also LIV’s first U.S. tournament in 2025, and the stakes couldn’t be bigger.
While 2024 brought us an amazing playoff finish, the titans of the game like Jon Rahm, Joaquin Niemann, and Bryson DeChambeau are all looking for a big win to build momentum to capture the coveted green jacket next weekend.
We are proud to bring you our LIV Fantasy rankings for the next iteration of LIV Miami! Let’s examine our picks for the five groups.
Picks by Group
- Sergio Garcia –Third overall in the standings and captaining his team to three straight victories, 2025 feels like the first year Sergio can win two or more tournaments. There are a few things to consider here: (1) Coming in second place in Miami last season after a gruelling playoff match with Dean Burmester, there will be extra motivation for Sergio that might not exist with Joaquin Niemann or Jon Rahm, the first and second place holders, respectively. (2) Sergio just missed out on a chance to secure a spot in The Open by coming in a close 4th in The International Series Macau (3) The Masters is next week and if you look at the current betting odds, Sergio is being drastically underrated, with no one giving him a real chance (4) Sergio is 1st in LIV in fairway hit percentage, which means he doesn’t get himself into early trouble often. Group 1 is by far the most difficult choice you’ll have to make for Miami. You can’t go wrong with Rahm, DeChambeau, Niemann, or Koepka, but I’ll stick with my first choice in Garcia.

- Dean Burmester – The winner of last year’s Miami playoff, Burmester is quietly putting together another fantastic season. Currently in fifth place in the overall standings with two Top 5 finishes to his name, Burmester is the premier fantasy option for Group 2 despite the deep field.
- Peter Uihlein –Less than a point away from being in The Lock Zone, Uihlein’s long drives will suit The Blue Monster well. I like The RangeGoats as a whole to be this week’s overperforming underdog with Uihlein to lead the way.
- Luis Masaveu – Masaveu finally looked comfortable in Singapore, helping the Fireballs earn their third consecutive victory. I don’t care for anyone else in Group 4. John Catlin’s playing status seems to always be a last-minute decision for the league, and while I believe in the RangeGoats, Matt Wolff has burned me too many times this season.

- Jason Kokrak – Fresh off a third-place finish in Macau on The International Series and qualifying for a spot in The Open at Royal Portrush, Kokrak is trending up in a big way. Don’t let Smash’s lack of team success deter you from picking Kokrak who grabbed a T10 finish in Singapore, a course which proved to be a challenge for a good portion of the field.
Picks for Teams
- Fireballs – In their own words, Sergio’s Fireballs are the “Tricampeón” of the 2025 season, a feat that has only been accomplished one other time in league history. The Fireballs will remain the undisputed number one team fantasy option until they are dislodged from the champion’s podium.
- RangeGoats – Ben Campbell was the surprise of Singapore, finishing 3rd overall, his first podium finish in his first full season of LIV. Matthew Wolff has been disappointing in 2025 but did finish 3rd overall in Miami last season. Bubba Watson was off to a hot start this season but has gotten progressively worse in the standings each week. The RangeGoats captain will look to get back on track, and with home-field advantage, Miami may be the perfect opportunity to do so.
