LIV Fantasy: Patrick Reed Eyes Back-to-Back Championships, Ryder Cup Spot, at LIV Andalucia

We are proud to bring you our LIV Fantasy rankings for the next iteration of LIV Andalucia!

One week before the last major championship of the year, The Open at Royal Portrush, LIV returns to one of its most beautiful courses in the circuit, Real Club Valderamma, Spain.

  1. Patrick Reed– Betting on Reed is betting on current form, past performance, and future incentives. Andalucia will be the field’s most difficult test to date. Reed proved at Augusta, Oakmont, and Maridoe that the more difficult courses do not bother him, immediately giving the LIV Dallas winner an advantage over about half the field. Reed also came in T4 at Andalucia last year, a couple of spots behind the hotly contested finale between Sergio Garcia and Anirban Lahiri. Lastly, it should be a no-brainer at this point that Reed belongs on the American Ryder Cup team, but another win at Andalucia (or The Open) has to lock up a roster spot for the 4 Aces star. Reed is a difficult choice, but the correct one over reigning champion Sergio Garcia and Joaquin Niemann who has won every other tournament this season.
  1. Anirban Lahiri – Lahiri has the best current form from the past two tournaments aside from his captain Bryson DeChambeau. Last year’s runner-up, Lahiri may never be a favourite to win outright but he’s shown he can score fantasy points at Andalucia. Dustin Johnson, Louis Oosthuizen, Charles Howell III, and Paul Casey are also excellent picks, but Lahiri feels like he’s due for a win, just as Patrick Reed was before Sunday two weeks ago.
  1. Cameron Tringale – Tringale feels like a safe pick for Group 3 which has been giving LIV Fantasy players fits recently. Tringale could have finished in the Top 10 last season at Andalucia if not for a 5-over opening round. The HyFlyers standout recorded his second Top 10 finish of the 2025 season at Dallas and generally is not a player who is going to blow up your entire team with a catastrophic round or two.
  1. Brendan Steele– As you can see, pickins’ are slim in Group 4 where Brendan Steele, a former LIV tournament winner, is really the only name to stand out. I have no confidence in youngsters Kjettrup or Ballester and cannot bring myself to select another Iron Head or Majesticks player. If you have something against Steele or taking two HyFlyers, take a flyer on Lee Westwood, who just qualified for the 2025 Open, likely the last of his illustrious career.
  1. Tom McKibbin / Ben Campbell – For the substitute position, you can either go boom or bust with Tom McKibbin who is currently in The Lock Zone in 22nd place, or the more sensible option in Ben Campbell who has one individual podium finish this season, but will likely end up somewhere between 15th – 25th place. Picking Campbell may make Tringale redundant, but there’s also no guarantee how McKibbin will fare, especially a week before his first major championship of the season.

  1. Crushers – The third LIV Golf team to win three tournaments in a row, the first to win four straight? Without peer, Bryson’s Crushers are at the apex of their form and there is simply no other squad worth selecting.
  1. Fireballs – But if you have to, the hometown heroes and reigning LIV Andalucia champs are your second-best bet. Their form has taken a hit as of late but Sergio’s Fireballs still have three straight wins on the 2025 season and coming home to Spain might be exactly what this squad needs to keep a hold on 3rd place in the standings or better.

Remember to set your fantasy roster before Friday when LIV returns to action in Andalucia! The action begins at 7:05 AM ET July 11th.

LIV Andalucia can be viewed throughout the weekend on the Fox Sports App, FOX, and FS2 with Saturday/Sunday in their entirety on FS1 and FOX.
