Li Haotong is hoping to ride the wave of momentum as he prepares to tee it up for the first time since his latest victory at this week’s Magical Kenya Open.
The 29-year-old claimed his fourth DP World Tour win at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters last time out, slamming home a closing 15-foot birdie putt to secure a one-stroke win and his first victory for almost three years.
The Shanghai native has not missed a cut since September 2024 and will be looking to continue his strong run of form when he tees it up at Muthaiga Golf Club this week.

The 2024 HotelPlanner Tour graduate has taken to life on the DP World Tour with impressive ease, finishing in a tie for seventh in his first start of the season at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.
The 22-year-old, who won as an amateur when he claimed the 2023 Challenge de Espana, then followed a tie for fourth at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship with a tie for fifth in Qatar.
Dutchman Darius van Driel will attempt to defend his title this week, having claimed his maiden DP World Tour win at Muthaiga Golf Club 12 months ago.
The 35-year-old won in wire-to-wire fashion last year and is one of five former champions in the field this week, being joined by Spain’s Jorge Campillo, Italian Guido Migliozzi, South Africa’s Justin Harding and China’s Wu Ashun.
