Jennifer Saxton is one of those players who could probably hit a pebble out of a bunker and have it land perfectly on the green—such is her precision.
But even a talent like Saxton doesn’t rely solely on raw skill; she’s armed herself with Shot Scope’s shot-tracking technology, and it’s been a game-changer.
With her sights set on the Concession Cup, where she’ll be part of the first-ever women’s team in the event, Saxton is embracing every bit of intel she can get her hands on.
“This is a huge honour,” Saxton shared, sounding both proud and a little like she still can’t believe it.
“Awareness around women’s golf is growing, and more opportunities are becoming available to us,” said Saxton, a member of the European team.
“We hope to be the first ones to get our names on that trophy and make history.”
Now that’s the spirit. Saxton’s part of the European team, and they’re ready to make a bit of history.
For those who haven’t followed her rise, Jennifer Saxton isn’t just any golfer. She’s Scotland’s own, a scratch golfer who hit that mark back in university and now has a jaw-dropping +5 handicap.
Thanks to Shot Scope’s tech wizardry, she’s honed in on every bit of her game, shaving strokes off in ways most of us can only dream about.
“With data-driven changes and input from my coach, my Fairway Hit Percentage has increased from 51% in 2021 to 65% in 2024,” she noted.
That’s no small feat in this game. Saxton’s now ranked 376th in the World Amateur Golf standings, is the ninth-ranked female Mid-Amateur worldwide, plays on the Scottish national ladies’ team, and has the 2022 St Rule Trophy on her mantle.
But despite all the hardware, she’s still a big fan of Shot Scope’s tech. “Look, data can be intimidating at first, but Shot Scope makes it easy.
It’s like having a personal coach who keeps track of everything you’re too busy to notice.”
Shot Scope itself? Well, it’s pure Scottish grit and genius wrapped in a watch, a rangefinder, and a motto: “Know your game.”
This isn’t just tech; it’s a lifeline for golfers everywhere—no subscriptions, no fuss, just pure insight for your game.
With golfers in 160 countries strapping on Shot Scope devices, it’s become a worldwide staple.
And now, from November 4th to 8th, Saxton and her teammates will face Team USA at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club in Savannah, Georgia, in the Concession Cup.
It’s a rare mix of men and women on the roster, and for the women, it’s a milestone—a first chance to make their mark.
If Jennifer Saxton has anything to say about it, she won’t just be there to play; she’ll be there to win.
