On Wednesday, April 2nd, the Hilton Manchester Deansgate was buzzing like a clubhouse after a hole-in-one as the 2025 England Golf Awards rolled into town.
More than 400 guests turned up—suited, booted, and buzzing—to raise a glass (or three) to the people and projects teeing up real change in the game.
With BBC Sport’s Mark Chapman steering the ship, the evening delivered 11 awards covering everything from sustainability to standout performances—proof that golf’s heartbeat doesn’t just echo from the 18th green but from every corner of the community that loves it.

As part of the festivities, 11 winners were revealed—each with a story so compelling you’d gladly miss a tee time to hear it—while beloved golf stalwart Brenda Parker received a heart-warming Lifetime Service Award and six new names were welcomed into England Golf’s Hall of Fame.
The public nominated contenders in nine categories, with 50 industry and media judges painstakingly whittling down a stellar field to a single champion for each.
Meanwhile, the Tournament Venue of the Year and Performance of the Year categories were nominated and judged by England Golf’s own championships and performance departments.
Every award winner walked away cradling an engraved glass trophy and gift hamper, tokens of their extraordinary dedication to the sport.
