British pop powerhouse Ella Henderson is set to bring the curtain down in style at this year’s BMW PGA Championship, headlining the Sunday night Showstage on 14 September. And yes, if you move quickly, there are still a few golden tickets left.
The chart-topping star, whose debut single Ghost roared to No.1 in 2014 and became the fastest-selling debut by a British artist that year, will perform after the final putt drops at Wentworth Club.
Henderson joins indie rockers Razorlight on a weekend bill that blends golf’s elite with stadium-worthy music—because frankly, who says birdies and basslines can’t share the same fairway?
“Ella is a fantastic addition to our schedule of events for the BMW PGA Championship and her performance will be a memorable way to end what promises to be a very special week,” said Darrell O’Hora, Championship Director.
“She joins an illustrious list of stars to have headlined the Showstage over the last nine years, and the weekend performances are always a highlight.”
The Ella Henderson resume is no light read. With over three billion streams and ten UK Top Ten singles under her belt, the former X Factor finalist has proven she’s no reality TV one-hit wonder.
Her latest collaboration with Rudimental, Alibi, lit up charts in 2024, and she’ll soon be hitting the road with OneRepublic on their European tour.
In recent years, she’s teamed up with dancefloor heavyweights David Guetta, Becky Hill, Joel Corry, Nathan Dawe and Jax Jones—the latter of whom headlined the Showstage in 2023. If that’s anything to go by, Sunday night at Wentworth could turn into more of a dance party than a golf wrap-up.
And with fewer than 100 General Admission tickets remaining for the final day, fans of both fairways and festival vibes would be wise not to dither.
A small number of Premium Experience options are also still up for grabs, offering the kind of luxury that even the clubhouse regulars would nod at approvingly.
The BMW PGA Championship is a stone’s throw from central London—under an hour by train or car—and transport options have been teed up for maximum ease.
BMW Group owners can take advantage of preferred on-site parking, while shuttle services from Virginia Water railway station make public transport a breeze. Park & Ride facilities will run from Broomhall Farm in Sunningdale and Royal Ascot Racecourse, with advance parking prices starting at £10 (£15 on the day). Season ticket holders can pre-book a full-week car pass for £30.
Whether you’re coming for the golf, the music, or the spectacle of it all, Ella Henderson closing out Wentworth is a fitting finale to a weekend that promises drama, decibels and—hopefully—no double bogeys.
