Central Vietnam golf tourism is officially teeing off on a whole new level, thanks to a brand-new Emirates route that now links Danang directly with the glittering metropolis of Dubai.
It’s not just a flight—it’s a first-class ticket to putting Central Vietnam on the global map, one smooth swing (and jet stream) at a time.
These exciting developments mark the start of a new chapter for golfers and travellers across the globe, as Central Vietnam cements its place as a top-tier destination—where five-star resorts, world-class golf courses, and unforgettable cultural experiences come together in perfect harmony.
In a move that’ll have travelling golfers grinning like they just holed out from the bunker, Emirates Airlines is launching four weekly flights between Dubai and Danang from June 2, 2025.
That’s Dubai—aviation’s answer to Augusta, with more international connections than a LIV vs PGA debate thread—now serving up a direct line to Vietnam’s coastal fairways, lush landscapes, and caddie-assisted bliss.
Not to be outdone, Vietnam Airlines is dusting off its Danang–Osaka route and swinging back into action with four weekly flights beginning July 3, tightening the grip on East Asia like a well-worn Vardon.
The momentum doesn’t stop there. A host of additional connections is ramping up to link Central Vietnam with the world. Vietnam Airlines resumed its direct flights from Bangkok on March 30, offering four flights per week.
Meanwhile, Air Premia inaugurated services between Seoul and Danang in January, Myanmar Airways International is set to launch flights between Yangon and Danang in April, Aero K introduced a Cheongju-Danang route back in February 2024, and Air Astana will kick off operations from Almaty, Kazakhstan on June 4.
These fresh and reloaded air routes are more than just lines on a flight map—they’re proof that Danang International Airport is fast becoming Asia’s new aviation ace.
With direct links to powerhouses like Japan, Korea, China, India, and beyond, the runway is now a red carpet for golfers and adventurers alike.
It’s not just cities we’re stitching together here—it’s cultures, caddies, and unforgettable moments, both on the fairways and far beyond the 18th green.
“Connecting Central Vietnam directly to Dubai is a game-changer,” said Stephen Banks, Director of Golf at Laguna Golf Lang Co where a Sir Nick Faldo Signature design threads rice paddies between emerald mountains and pounding ocean.

“Golfers and tourists alike will now have unprecedented global access to our world-class golf and luxury resorts, significantly broadening our international appeal.”
At the heart of this transformative wave lies an upgraded profile for the region’s golfing credentials. “Improved connectivity, particularly with Emirates via Dubai, elevates the profile of Central Vietnam as a golfing destination to new heights,” added Simon Mees, General Manager at Ba Na Hills Golf Club, another of the region’s signature clubs and a fulcrum of the VGC destination marketing effort.
“We’re excited to welcome players from around the world to our Luke Donald-designed championship course and introduce them to the region’s extraordinary experiences.”
But it’s not just the fairways getting all the fanfare. With Emirates rolling in and new routes opening up like a well-read green, Central Vietnam’s entire charm offensive is in full swing.
Picture this: world-class golf one day, a barefoot wander through the lantern-lit streets of UNESCO-listed Hoi An the next, and maybe a selfie or two on the Golden Bridge—yes, the one held aloft by giant stone hands like some mythical caddie offering up your best round yet.
The region’s lush landscapes, dreamy resorts, and cultural charisma are now just a boarding pass away—and judging by the spike in tee time bookings, the world has taken notice.

“The Emirates connection is significant, opening up access not just to Europe and North America but globally,” said Le Vo Hoang Van, Club Manager at Montgomerie Links, where European legend Colin Montgomerie has designed a fast-running links-style challenge.
“This marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to showcase Central Vietnam as one of Asia’s most attractive golf destinations.”
Amid all these high-flying flight paths and booming tee sheets, it’s the local flair that truly lights up the sky—quite literally.
The Danang International Fireworks Festival doesn’t just light up the night sky—it hijacks your senses and refuses to give them back.
We’re talking retina-burning colour storms that leave jaws on the floor, pulses racing, and phone cameras weeping for storage space.
Like clockwork, it lures in global crowds quicker than you can say ‘front-row selfie,’ all eager to bask in a city that doesn’t just throw a party—it launches it into orbit.
And the timing? Impeccable. This explosive spectacle arrives just as Central Vietnam’s reputation is skyrocketing—think show-stopping golf courses, toes-in-the-sand luxury, and a cultural scene with serious main character energy. It’s loud, it’s proud, and it’s the perfect excuse to stay out way past par.
And as for that shiny new Emirates route? It’s not just a flight—it’s a fast-track to Vietnam’s glow-up.
With seamless global access now in play, Central Vietnam isn’t just on the map—it’s circled in red with a star next to it.
We’re talking championship golf, sleek resorts, knockout scenery, and the kind of heritage that makes your Instagram captions write themselves.
Basically, it’s the long-haul escape that ticks every box—no brain fog, just birdies.
