DP World Extends Ryder Cup Partnership: Big Plans for Bethpage Black and Adare Manor

The PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe announced today that DP World, the logistics powerhouse, will continue as a Worldwide Partner for the Ryder Cup through 2027.

After a successful partnership in 2023, DP World is ready to tackle the unique challenges of this major golf event when it returns to the U.S. at Bethpage Black in New York in 2025, then moves on to Adare Manor in Ireland in 2027.

When it comes to making sure complex events run like clockwork, DP World truly shines. In 2023, they showcased their expertise at the Ryder Cup held at Marco Simone in Italy.

With a network spanning 80 countries, they coordinated the delivery of thousands of essential items, including mobility scooters for fans needing a bit of assistance and solar power setups that helped keep the event eco-friendly.

DP World’s logistics engine meant that every piece of equipment, from the smallest supply to large shipments, arrived just where it needed to be, exactly on time.

Danny van Otterdijk, Chief Communications Officer at DP World: “We are proud to extend our partnership with one of the most prestigious events in global sport.

The Ryder Cup is a perfect match for DP World, as both share a commitment to excellence, innovation, and reaching a global audience.

We are proud to have helped deliver a faster and more seamless Ryder Cup in 2023, and as discussions progress around how we might support logistical solutions for this iconic event moving forward, we remain excited about enhancing the fan experience and contributing to the continued success of the Ryder Cup in 2025 and beyond.”

This collaboration goes beyond logistics—DP World’s involvement in the Ryder Cup also brings something for the fans.

At the 2025 event at Bethpage Black, they’re setting up a fan zone to showcase their tech-savvy approach to logistics.

They’ll also highlight their “Second-Life Container” project, collecting used golf balls and equipment to donate to grassroots golf programs that could use the support.

According to Jeff Price, Chief Commercial Officer at the PGA of America, DP World’s help in 2023 made a big difference: “As seen in 2023, DP World has been an invaluable partner in helping elevate the Ryder Cup experience on a global scale.

Their expertise in logistics and supply chain solutions ensured the smooth operation of the event, enabling organizers to focus on delivering a world-class experience for those in attendance.

We look forward to continuing this successful partnership as we approach Bethpage Black in 2025 and look ahead to 2027.”

Meanwhile, Ryder Cup Director Richard Atkinson noted how the partnership sets the stage for even bigger things at Bethpage and Adare Manor.

“The Ryder Cup has grown to become one of the biggest sporting events in the world and with that comes a high degree of complexity in its staging.

DP World’s smart supply chain expertise is highly valued by Ryder Cup Europe, the PGA of America and our partners and they helped us stage a record-breaking and truly memorable match in Rome.

We are always trying to elevate the experience and New York in 2025 provides the perfect stage to do just that.

We look forward to working closely with DP World during the next two matches.”

With less than a year to go before golf’s top players tee off in New York, DP World, the PGA of America, and Ryder Cup Europe are teaming up to create another unforgettable Ryder Cup.

They’re dedicated to bringing fans from around the globe together for a front-row experience to enjoy the excitement and camaraderie of team golf.
