Patrick Koenig's Laguna Golf Lang Co New Snapshots

Oh, to be at Laguna Golf Lang Co! Picture this: you’re standing where the great Sir Nick Faldo once plotted a course that zigs and zags through some of the most stunning landscapes in Asia. Now though thanks to the talented Patrick Koenig, those of us not lucky enough to tee off in person can still feast our eyes on this beauty.

Snuggled between rugged mountains and the endless ocean, this course isn’t just a place to swing clubs—it’s a full-on visual adventure.

Koenig has outdone himself this time, traipsing through fields, hopping over streams, and getting up close with the local rocks and surf to capture images that sing the praises of Laguna Golf Lang Co.

Stephen Banks, the PGA fellow and the big boss of golf at Laguna, is over the moon about these new snaps. “Patrick’s photos are a game-changer for us,” he enthuses. “They really show off how we blend serious golfing challenges with our knockout natural setting.”

These photos aren’t just postcard-perfect; they’re commissioned by Asia Golf Trips to shout from the rooftops about Vietnam’s epic golf scene.

Despite some dodgy weather playing spoilsport during Koenig’s nine-day shoot, the photos turned out ace, showing the world just how lush Vietnamese golf courses are.

Scott Resch, who runs Asia Golf Trips, says, “These are the photos we’ve been waiting for. They capture the true essence of what makes Vietnam’s courses stand out.”

The course itself throws tradition a curveball. It’s not quite the old-school “links” you might imagine, but with its out-and-back layout and a whiff of salty air, it feels like a nod to the classics.

Take the 9th, a challenging par-4 that skirts the beach, or the stunning 11th, where from an elevated tee, you drive towards a green framed by dramatic rocks, with mountains looming close and a waterfall tumbling in the backdrop.
