LIV Golf’s Cleeks Golf Club collaboration with artist Jacob Felländer is teeing off into uncharted territory—blending the high-stakes drama of professional golf with the bold creativity of contemporary art.
In a partnership that might leave even the most seasoned golf commentators scratching their heads (and loving it), Europe’s LIV Golf team—captained by two-time Major Champion Martin Kaymer—has joined forces with renowned mixed-media artist Jacob Felländer to reimagine what the game can be.
Debuting at an exclusive exhibition at Superblue Miami, the collaboration launches a forward-thinking cultural initiative that treats golf like the sprawling canvas it is.

With LIV Golf joining forces, the trio has unveiled a custom art installation symbolising the 2025 LIV Golf League journey—a single image that stitches together every host city on the year’s schedule, shining the spotlight on Miami as the starting point.
By merging golf’s storied history with a jolt of modern creativity, they’re aiming to make the sport more expressive, inclusive, and downright fun for everyone.
The project highlights a harmonious fusion between the worlds of golf and art. By leveraging the high-octane stage LIV Golf provides, this collaboration celebrates golf’s revered traditions while painting a fresh, inventive vision of its future.
Felländer’s approach is all about uniting artistry and sports to spark inspiration in the next generation of dreamers, while the Cleeks are convinced that creativity isn’t just a hobby—it’s a way of life.
Together, they’re intent on challenging our perceptions and “inviting new voices to see golf differently.”
“This is more than a partnership; it’s the beginning of an artistic movement within LIV Golf,” says Cleeks General Manager Jonas Mårtensson.
“The Cleeks will continue to bring the passion [of art], while LIV provides the platform, and together we will challenge conventions, inviting new voices to see golf differently.
The hero piece, symbolising the LIV Golf 2025 journey, starts in Miami but unfolds far beyond, turning physical artwork into an immersive, ever-evolving experience.”
Much like LIV Golf, Felländer believes in shaking up the status quo. He’s made waves by merging the timeless with the cutting-edge—analogue photography, painting, virtual reality, and augmented reality all find common ground under his brush.
And though Jacob once teed it up at Flagler College, he found that photography and painting let him capture the movement, layers, and perspectives golf enthusiasts know all too well.
“Similarly to golf, art is a play,” says Felländer. “And you don’t know where that’s going to take you.
A collaboration like this is about moving the game forward, inspiring the next generation, making the game more inclusive, and proving that golf – like art – is about perspective, possibility, and play.”
On Friday, Kaymer will take to the course with a custom, paint-wrapped golf bag designed by Felländer—a vibrant statement piece that screams “I dare you to ignore me.”
Beyond the fairways, fans can step into the Cleeks Garden Party by the 18th green. It’s not just another hospitality area; it’s a pulsating mix of golf, art, and culture, complete with live music, interactive installations, and a show-stopping live art performance by Felländer on Saturday, April 5th at 1 pm EST.
Watch him hand-paint a canvas of Kaymer’s golf bag in real time, turning the course into a living art gallery.
“While we [at the Cleeks] are aware we are shaking things up, we invite the rest of you to join us in challenging what’s normal by looking at the world through a different lens and doing things like they’ve never been done before,” says Cleeks Captain Martin Kaymer.
As for the name “Cleeks,” it dates back to the days when a cleek was a trusty, long-iron golf club.
With that nod to history, Cleeks Golf Club aims to connect golf’s heritage with its cutting-edge tomorrow.
Their brand is both classic and contemporary—“Tradition Refreshed,” if you will.
And speaking of refreshment, the 2025 campaign started with a splash: a collaboration with Martin Key, resulting in a series of luxurious weekend bags fit for art connoisseurs and fairway fanatics alike.

Fair warning: once you see how they’re blending brush strokes with big drives, you might never look at golf the same way again.
