Charley Hull Joins Star-Studded Field at PIF London Championship This August

Charley Hull, Britain’s boldest basher of golf balls, is set to electrify Centurion Club from August 8–10, as she joins the field at the 2025 PIF London Championship — the crown jewel of the PIF Global Series on the Ladies European Tour.

And let’s be honest, anytime Charley Hull tees it up on home turf, it’s not just a golf tournament — it’s a proper occasion.

Fresh off a fine run of form that’s included a pair of top-15 finishes in majors and a gutsy fourth-place outing at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, Hull is striding into London like a woman who means business. Then again, that’s hardly news.

Hull’s last taste of victory came at the tail-end of 2024, where she turned the Aramco Team Series – Riyadh finale into her own personal fireworks display. Five birdies in the first seven holes? Check. A closing 66? Check. An 18-under total and a three-shot cushion? Of course.

That kind of golf doesn’t just win trophies — it silences clubhouses. Currently sitting 19th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, Hull is playing the sort of golf that keeps caddies wide-eyed and coaches smiling.

“Competing on home soil always brings an extra level of motivation, and playing in front of UK fans at Centurion will be a real highlight,” Hull said.

“The PIF Global Series is making a meaningful impact on the women’s game, and with such a strong field confirmed for London, it promises to be a great week.”

Indeed, she won’t be short on company. England’s Mimi Rhodes, who’s sitting pretty atop the LET Order of Merit, will be looking to defend her standing. Cara Gainer, fresh off a win in Morocco, and young gun Annabell Fuller round out a strong home contingent.

The international cast includes Czech ace Sara Kouskova — who’s already tucked two trophies under her arm this season — and Singapore’s Shannon Tan, recent victor at the Amundi German Masters.

Add in Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini, with her trio of 2024 titles, and you’ve got a leaderboard that could combust on contact.

But let’s not kid ourselves — the real drawcard is still Charley Hull. Her blend of grit, swagger, and raw shot-making makes her the kind of player who doesn’t just move the needle — she is the needle.

If you’re a golf fan with a pulse, this one’s not to be missed. And better yet, it’s a proper family affair: kids under 16 get in free with a paying adult.

All ticket proceeds? Poured straight back into grassroots golf in England — a rare bird in today’s sporting landscape.
