Arcis Golf just stepped onto the first tee of a brand-new round, and it’s playing aggressively.
The Dallas-based operator—already the second-largest owner of golf facilities in the United States—closed on a three-club package once stewarded by Invited: The Country Club of the South in Johns Creek, The Manor Golf & Country Club in Alpharetta, and White Columns Country Club in Milton. Operations switched to Arcis Golf first thing this morning.
“The acquisition of three historic clubs – each distinguished by exceptional courses, facilities, and amenities – brings a fresh dimension to our diverse collection of private, daily-fee and resort properties, and marks an exciting new chapter for Arcis Golf,” said Blake Walker, the company’s founder, chairman, and CEO.
His words ring true – these aren’t just golf courses; they’re cathedrals of the game, each with its own character and loyal following.
For Arcis Golf, this isn’t just another notch in the belt. It’s part of a relentless drive to own and operate premier properties in key markets, and to grow the game of golf by creating experiences that go beyond the 18th green.
“The Country Club of the South, The Manor Golf & Country Club, and White Columns Country Club fit perfectly into our strategy… underscoring our unwavering commitment to growing the game of golf, and creating transformative lifestyle experiences,” Walker added.
David Pillsbury, CEO of Invited and the clubs’ previous steward, was gracious in handing over the reins: “It has been a true privilege to have been a steward of these outstanding clubs,” he said.
“We are confident that under Arcis Golf’s ownership, the clubs will maintain their renowned reputations and continue to deliver exceptional golf and lifestyle experiences to their members for years to come.”
And Arcis Golf certainly isn’t planning to sit back and watch the grass grow. They’re already promising to sink significant capital into course enhancements and amenities across all three clubs.
This trio of acquisitions brings Arcis Golf’s portfolio to 18 clubs in just three years, including some of the nation’s most iconic venues: The Woodlands Country Club in Houston, Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta, and Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, to name a few.
Over the past four years, Arcis Golf has ploughed more than $150 million into upgrading its properties – not just dressing up the fairways, but investing in the people, programs, and systems that turn good golf clubs into great communities.
It’s paid off: the company has earned a spot on the Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, a clear nod to its ambitious growth and the high bar it sets.
The Country Club of the South, with its Jack Nicklaus signature course, remains one of Atlanta’s toughest tests of golf. It’s a spot where your game – and your nerve – had better be up to snuff.

Six clay and six hard tennis courts, top-notch fitness and dining, and a steady calendar of social events round out the club’s offering.
Meanwhile, The Manor Golf & Country Club boasts a rare Tom Watson design – one of just 16 worldwide. It’s a family-friendly hub, with junior golf and tennis programs that hint at the next generation of champions.

The Manor’s vibrant social calendar and elegant venues give it a pulse that goes far beyond the course.
Rounding out the trio, White Columns Country Club flaunts a Tom Fazio layout that’s no pushover.
Add in swimming, pickleball, tennis, and a social scene that would put a country wedding to shame, and you’ve got the makings of a golf club that’s as much about camaraderie as it is about competition.
