adidas has once again disrupted the golf footwear market with the introduction of the CODECHAOS 25, the latest evolution in their performance spikeless footwear franchise.
This new model, available from August 1, features a redesigned outsole and upper, promising enhanced traction, stability, and an unmistakable aesthetic.
Innovative Design for Unmatched Performance
The CODECHAOS 25 is not just about looks; it’s packed with performance-enhancing features.
Central to its design is the new 3D TORSION plate. This advanced component provides golfers with increased stability during their swing and as they walk the course.
It also offers a better overall fit, minimizing midfoot bend and preventing internal heel slip.
The iconic TWISTGRIP outsole has been upgraded with a new lug shape, covering a greater surface area and providing up to 40% more traction than previous models.
“Nearly 5 years ago, we made the bold move to introduce CODECHAOS when traditional spikeless models were saturating the market,” said Masun Denison, global footwear director at adidas Golf.
“The impact this footwear had then and continues to have now is another proof point for us that golfers are continuing to look for spikeless performance in athletic and non-traditional silhouettes.

Advanced Fit and Comfort
To ensure a snug fit, adidas collaborated with BOA engineers to incorporate the PerformFit® Wrap powered by the BOA Fit System in the CODECHAOS 25 BOA model.
This feature, covered by a zipper shroud, provides a locked-in feel with added stability. Both men’s and women’s models are available with the BOA system.
Comfort is paramount in golf footwear, and the CODECHAOS 25 delivers with a new hybrid midsole combining BOOST and LIGHTSTRIKE technologies.
BOOST technology focuses on energy return and cradling the foot, while LIGHTSTRIKE adds stability and comfort around the rim of the midsole.
This combination ensures that golfers experience both comfort and stability on the course.
Flexible and Durable Upper
The upper of the CODECHAOS 25 is made from a durable, multi-layer knit designed to offer additional flexibility.
The inner layer, closest to the foot, is a soft, moisture-wicking material for enhanced comfort.
The middle layer is a dynamic jacquard with an open structure, providing flexibility and allowing golfers to adapt to different lies.
The outer layer is a sporty mesh that enhances the underlying layers while offering waterproof protection.
A transparent PU film showcases the unique construction of the upper.
Availability
Golfers can find the CODECHAOS 25 in both BOA and laced models for men and women, as well as a junior model, starting Thursday, August 1.
The footwear will be available on adidas.com, the adidas app, and at select retailers worldwide.
