In a bold blend of tech, talent and toe-to-toe bravado, Majesticks GC and Trackman have announced a global closest-to-the-pin competition that’s giving everyday hackers the chance to take on LIV Golf legends on one of Europe’s most infamous par-3s.
Yes, that’s right—between June 23 and July 9, 2025, you can tee it up (virtually) against Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson and Sam Horsfield on the 6th hole at Spain’s Real Club Valderrama.
Not for money, mind you, but for something far more valuable: the right to say you got closer to the pin than Poults.
And if you’re lucky, maybe win a round of golf with him—or one of his Majesticks GC mates.
“We’re truly bringing fans closer to the game,” said Poulter, never one to whisper when a megaphone will do.
“This is a chance to go shot-for-shot with us on one of the toughest par-3s in Europe. Step up, take your swing, and we’ll see you on the tee.”
No Tour Card Required
Open to anyone aged 13 and over—with parental consent required for the young guns—players simply need to log into a Trackman account and have access to either a Trackman Range or simulator.
If you don’t have an account, the Trackman Golf app has your back. Best part? No entry fee.
You get four cracks at sticking it close to the pin, and your top shot will go into the leaderboard mix. Meanwhile, the Majesticks GC pros will play the exact same hole live during Round 1 of LIV Golf Andalucía on July 11.
Outshoot a pro? That’ll earn you a spot in the prize draw to play a round with a Majesticks GC player—location and date still under lock and key, presumably somewhere less terrifying than Valderrama.
Castore Kit, Real Prizes, Real Bragging Rights
All entrants snag a tidy 15% discount from Castore, the official Majesticks GC kit supplier, just for having a go.
But the real loot comes for the sharpest sharpshooters: the top 10 players from each category—simulator and range—will walk away with exclusive prizes.
And if you’re a junior (aged 13-18) who can laser one inside the pros? You’re not only going in the draw, but you’ll also have your own winner’s category.
It’s equal parts pressure and promise—a bit like putting for par after a triple bogey.
