Cabot Courses in Saint Lucia, Canada, Scotland & Norway Named Among World’s Best

When it comes to world‑class fairways beyond America’s borders, Cabot golf courses have long been whispered about in golfers’ circles.

Now, five of these standout layouts have stormed into Golfweek’s esteemed 2025 Top 100 International Courses list, as judged by more than 800 expert raters.

Five Cabot golf courses earn global honours

Cabot Bordeaux
  • No. 5 Point Hardy Golf Club (Cap Estate, Saint Lucia)
  • No. 12 Cabot Cliffs (Inverness, Nova Scotia)
  • No. 45 (tied) Cabot Links (Inverness, Nova Scotia)
  • No. 54 Castle Stuart Golf Links (Inverness, Scotland)
  • No. 89 (tied) Lofoten Links (Gimsøysand, Norway)

Point Hardy Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw and opening in 2023, charges in as the highest‐ranking new entrant—a remarkable debut for Cabot Saint Lucia.

Meanwhile, Lofoten Links, the world’s northernmost links-style course, makes its first appearance after Cabot’s strategic investment late last year.

A co‑founder’s pride

Cabot Citrus Farms - Karoo

“We are incredibly honoured to see five Cabot courses recognised by Golfweek among the world’s best,” said Ben Cowan‑Dewar, CEO and co‑founder of Cabot.

“Creating extraordinary golf experiences has always been at the core of what we do, and it is deeply rewarding to see our courses making a lasting impact on golfers worldwide.”

Such praise is no small feat for a portfolio that only launched in 2012. Cabot’s rapid expansion signals its ambition to craft destinations where every hole is worthy of conversation.

Cabot’s growing global footprint

The accolades come as Cabot ushers in fresh chapters across three continents:

  • Cabot Citrus Farms, its first U.S. property, opened early 2025 with two refurbished 18‑hole layouts—including Karoo, named “Best New Public Course” by Sports Illustrated—and luxury amenities.
  • Old Petty at Cabot Highlands in Scotland, a new 18‑hole design by Tom Doak, begins preview play in August 2025.
  • Transformation of Cabot Bordeaux promises a haven for golf and wine lovers in France.
  • And in 2027, Cabot Revelstoke will introduce the brand’s first mountain destination in Canada, alongside Rod Whitman’s public‑access Cabot Pacific.

Each new venture underscores why Cabot golf courses continue to catch the eye of players and critics alike.
