3D Printing Meets the Green: COBRA Golf Launches High-Tech LIMIT3D Putters

If you thought 3D printing had already changed the game, wait until you get a load of the new COBRA LIMIT3D 3D putters.

In a headline-making collaboration with HP, COBRA Golf has found a way to nudge the boundaries of golf club design even further, delivering putters that look like they’ve walked straight out of a sci-fi movie and onto the green.

Following the buzz generated by earlier LIMIT3D irons and the 3DP TOUR IRONS, these putters sport a one-piece 3D-printed stainless-steel construction—minus the usual drilled cavities or bolted-on soleplates that can undermine both acoustics and feel.

By integrating refined lattice structures, these futuristic flat sticks ramp up MOI and stability, translating to straighter rolls when you’re daring enough to putt off-centre (not that any of us ever do).

“As leaders in technology and innovation, we recognized the potential of 3D printing to create more advanced products,” said Chad DeHart, Sr. Product Line Manager at Cobra Golf.

“The impressive performance gains of the LIMIT3D irons made it an easy decision to apply the same technology to putters. We are excited to introduce these new models and believe players will be impressed by their performance.”

CNC machining polishes each new COBRA LIMIT3D 3D putter into Tour-calibre shape, while LA GOLF’s Descending Loft Technology (DLT) does its part by incorporating four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°) to fine-tune launch and promote that silky end-over-end roll.

Those who crave a mallet will want to give the ENZO model a hard look. Its face-balanced design and half-shaft offset blend into a high-MOI head, courtesy of HP’s Metal Jet 3D Printing technology.

“The ongoing partnership between Cobra Golf and HP highlights the transformative power of our 3D printing technology,” said Alex Moñino, Senior Vice President and GM of HP Additive Manufacturing Solutions.

“The launch of the new ENZO putter showcases Cobra’s unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence, leveraging HP Metal Jet to deliver groundbreaking performance and design for golf enthusiasts worldwide.”

For fans of a traditional blade, the PISTA checks all the right boxes. Manufactured using Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), the PISTA-45 features a plumber’s neck hosel, 45-degree toe hang, and a full-shaft offset for that classic, no-nonsense look and feel.

Both ENZO and PISTA roll out of the factory with KBS CT Tour Putter 120 shafts and SuperStroke Zenergy 2.0PT grips, ensuring high-end performance right from the jump.

With only 500 of each model available, the exclusivity factor is through the roof—especially at £499 a pop.

After all, in the grand tradition of pushing the envelope, COBRA Golf just teed up a jaw-dropper you won’t want to miss.
