It’s official: the Wilson DYNAPWR irons are making a splash once again, this time with two fresh sets engineered to boost performance and help you sail through every round like a seasoned tour pro.
Dubbed the DYNAPWR (game-improvement) and DYNAPWR Max (game-improvement plus), these sleek irons are loaded with next-gen features aimed at elevating speed, distance, and overall forgiveness.
Both sets come armed with a revolutionary PKR Cup face design merged with Wilson’s AI-generated Variable Face Technology—a high-tech blend that enhances ball speeds and maximises distance.
Equally impressive, the low centre of gravity (CG) and high moment of inertia (MOI) work in tandem to deliver extra forgiveness and higher launch angles.
There’s also a Velocity Optimisation Channel snuggled into the sole and tucked behind the face, boosting flexibility at impact for eye-opening ball speeds.
“We’ve taken the design process from the successful DYNAPWR family and added even more innovation to create two brand new irons for the game-improvement and game-improvement plus categories,” explains Jon Pergande, Director of Global R&D and Product.
“The new technologies collectively provide greater ball speed, more forgiveness, and improved control, ultimately making the game more enjoyable.”
Breaking up the game-improvement category into two distinct segments allowed Wilson’s team to target two different types of players.
The DYNAPWR iron caters to golfers who typically make more consistent contact, boasting reduced offset, a thinner topline, and a narrower sole.
On the flip side, the DYNAPWR Max iron takes forgiveness to new heights with a slightly larger head and a wider sole—perfect for those seeking a bit more help squaring the face at impact.
“The loft structure and wider sole that we built into DYNAPWR Max gives players the launch and distance they need,” Pergande adds.
“Meanwhile, DYNAPWR appeals to players with a more traditional eye who still want to squeeze out every last yard.”
