Iron Heads GC Team’s Finalised Roster Sets Stage for 2025 LIV Golf League Season

Iron Heads GC has unveiled its finalised roster for the 2025 LIV Golf League season, blending veteran experience with rising young talent.

Following their inspiring performance at the 2024 Team Championship in Dallas, the team is looking sharper than ever.

Captain Kevin Na has locked in his trusted duo, Danny Lee and Jinichiro Kozuma, while bringing aboard a show-stopper in 22-year-old Yubin Jang—a rising star straight from the Korean Tour.

Yubin Jang: A Rising Star

Yubin Jang’s addition is a significant boost for the team. The Korean prodigy dominated the 2024 Korean Tour, earning the titles of KPGA Money Leader and Genesis Points Champion while leading in Top Ten Finishes.

A three-time Korean Tour winner, Jang also brought home gold at the 2023 Asian Games, cementing his status as one of golf’s brightest emerging talents.

Kevin Na, captain of the Iron Heads, couldn’t be more thrilled:

“As a promising young talent from Korea, I’ve been following his career for years and have had my eye on him to join the team,” said Iron Heads Captain, Kevin Na.

“The Iron Heads needed young talent like his to push our veterans, and I’m confident he has what it takes to become a world-class golfer.

Yubin’s presence shows young Korean golfers a clear path to competing globally against the best, and with an event in Korea this year, his addition is a major boost for our team. It’s an incredibly exciting time for Korean golf!”

Building on Momentum

Iron Heads GC is no stranger to exceeding expectations. Their gutsy performance in Dallas last season saw them finish tied for second at the Team Championship, toppling higher-seeded teams Smash GC and Crushers GC along the way.

Jinichiro Kozuma was the hero of the hour, rolling in a clutch 10-foot birdie on the 18th hole to push the match against Smash GC into extra play.

Then, with nerves of steel, he drained a jaw-dropping 30-foot par putt to seal the deal.

Not to be outdone, Danny Lee—your 2023 LIV Golf Tucson champion—took down two of the league’s biggest names, Talor Gooch and Bryson DeChambeau, in consecutive singles matches. Talk about delivering when it matters most!

General Manager Martin Kim is optimistic about the team’s future: “We’re thrilled to re-sign Danny and Jini, who were pivotal to our strong finish last season,” says Iron Heads Golf Club General Manager Martin Kim.

“Danny is a proven winner in this league with great energy and Jini’s emerging talent will be essential as we strive to become a contender at every event.

I’m really loving our roster with the addition of our new young gun [Jang]. It’s going to be a fun ride next season.”

Preparing for 2025

The Iron Heads are gearing up for the upcoming season with a two-week training camp in Palm Springs, California.

The season kicks off February 6-8 at LIV Golf Riyadh, but the team has its sights set on a marquee moment: hosting LIV Golf Korea on May 2-4 at the iconic Jack Nicklaus Golf Club.

With a fresh lineup and a season brimming with potential, Iron Heads GC looks ready to shake things up in the 2025 LIV Golf League.

Whether it’s the steady hands of veterans like Lee and Kozuma or the electrifying promise of young Yubin Jang, this team is shaping up to be a serious contender on the world stage.
