For the third time, The International Series has stepped up with a big-hearted donation, handing over $25,000 to the Bright Dawn Foundation in Thailand.
This isn’t just any donation—it’s a lifeline for kids in rural Hua Hin, where a lot of families work the land and pinch pennies to make ends meet.
The Bright Dawn Foundation, a dedicated Thai charity, has made it their mission to help these kids get a better start in life, and this generous gift from The International Series is a game-changer.
The International Series Thailand event provided the perfect backdrop for the donation, reaffirming the Series’ commitment to giving back to its host communities.
Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, put it perfectly: “Philanthropy is one of our main pillars at The International Series, and we look to make a positive contribution to the destinations and communities that support our events, everywhere we go.
He continued, “Opportunity is a watchword for us on The International Series and through this donation we hope to support the Bright Dawn Foundation, and enable them to continue with this important work which will provide opportunity for local families, improving life in these areas.”
So, what does this money do? In the hands of the Bright Dawn Foundation, every penny is well spent.
Since its start in 2010, the Foundation has been providing kids with school meals, clothing, healthcare, and a solid education—think language lessons, technology skills, and life skills that really count.
They even jump in for bigger projects, like building and renovating classrooms, libraries, and canteens to make school a better place to be.
Donald Nimmo, CEO of the Bright Dawn Foundation, summed it up best: “We are very grateful to The International Series once again. Put simply, the donation is a very significant part of our annual funding requirement.”
In fact, he explained that just this donation alone could provide over 50,000 school meals.
That’s not just a number—it’s full bellies, healthy kids, and brighter futures for everyone involved.
“In real terms, although most donations are pooled, The International Series donation by way of example, would provide over 50,000 school meals to children who need them.
“Donations like this ensure that our work directly benefits the children, the schools and teachers who are fundamental to empowering the next generation and enriching the wider ecosystem in this area.
We cannot thank The International Series enough and strongly believe that with your help, we are changing lives.”
The International Series doesn’t stop here. They’re on a mission to leave a positive mark on every community that hosts their events, not only by promoting golf but by supporting grassroots initiatives and meaningful causes.
For The International Series, it’s about far more than the game; it’s about the chance to build something lasting, something that matters, and to make a real difference where it counts.
