This year, British Heart Foundation (BHF) Scotland has been appointed the Official Charity for the 2024 Senior Open Presented by Rolex.
The prestigious event will be held at the iconic Carnoustie Golf Links from July 25-28.
The British Heart Foundation, the UK’s largest cardiovascular disease charity, has been at the forefront of heart health research since 1961.
Their groundbreaking efforts have supported life-saving innovations such as heart transplants, pacemakers, portable defibrillators, and valve replacements.
Their mission? To outsmart cardiovascular disease, one of the globe’s deadliest adversaries.
Teaming up with the Senior Open, BHF aims to generate substantial funds during the event at Carnoustie.
Enthusiastic spectators can contribute by participating in various challenges such as the Long Putt, Nearest the Pin, and Longest Drive in the spectator village.
All proceeds from these activities will directly support BHF’s research endeavours.

They are a charity that has touched millions of peoples’ lives during their 63-year existence and their pioneering research is incredibly important in the quest to beat cardiovascular disease.
We raised a substantial amount of money at Gleneagles two years ago, when they were again our Official Charity, and we aim to replicate that this year.”
