Taylor Pendrith Earns First PGA Tour Victory at The CJ CUP Byron Nelson

Taylor Pendrith

Taylor Pendrith achieved his first PGA Tour win at The CJ CUP Byron Nelson, finishing with a 23-under-par total, one shot ahead of the field.

His victory was cemented by a final-round 67, following an impressive third round where he posted a bogey-free 63 with back-to-back eagles.

Pendrith, visibly thrilled, shared his excitement after the win, stating, “I’m super thrilled, it’s amazing, I’m shaking”.

“I obviously haven’t had my best stuff this year, and to have my family here through everything is super special.

Meg is my biggest support system, and to have this little guy [son, Hayes] with me is amazing.”

A key factor in Pendrith’s success was his wedge play. He holed out three times from around the greens and ranked third in strokes gained in that category for the tournament.

This victory also grants him entry into the upcoming Wells Fargo Championship, a significant PGA Tour event.
